| The Institute of Federal Health Care, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, serves as an objective facilitator of analysis, interaction and debate on critical issues in medicine and health care. IFHC believes that communication among federal and private-sector officials on contemporary, cross-cutting issues can offer new insights and help leverage strengths.
IFHC also believes that federal agencies offer a "laboratory" for health care policy, research and practice that can benefit the nation as a whole.
IFHC's main activity is a series of decisionmaker forums. These are invitation-only events that bring together a spectrum of prominent federal, business and academic healthcare leaders in a format designed to inform and to stimulate discussion.
IFHC also provides opportunity for new executives in both the federal and private sectors to benefit from the experience and wisdom gained by senior officials through its Executive Leadership Program.
IFHC does not engage in commercial or political activities. Its sole purpose is to help federal health care, and all of health care, into a favorable future.
The Institute of Federal Health Care is guided in its activities by its Board of Directors and Advisory Committee.
